At The Oconocon there will be comic books and artwork geared for many differnet age groups and genres. I am trusting dealers & guests of the show to use their best judgment when it comes to the display of their products. And I also ask parents to do their part and keep a mindful eye on their children during the show. John has nothing to do with the plot / story... the art is great Byrne-ish art, which is very enjoyable, at least to those of us with classical taste. Skrulls, Avengers dealing with Civil War, United we Divide... This is one of those mainstream books that seem to not be connected to everything else that is going on... Editors? Editors? But the story really leaves me dry. Maybe I missed something, but when is this story supposed to take place? The X-Men, Avengers (mighty and New… with the Sentry) all responding to the call and being trounced doesn't sit well with me. The whole thing gives me a "bad dream / trapped in VR" vibe.
